Our Commitment

We at Azure Meetup Konstanz and Region are committed to creating an open, welcoming, and safe environment for everyone. Whether you’re participating in person or online, whether you’re new or a long-time member: you’re welcome here, regardless of age, body, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity, experience level, education, social status, nationality, appearance, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Our Standards

Here’s how you can contribute to a positive meetup atmosphere:

  • Be friendly and inclusive in your expression.
  • Respect different opinions and experiences.
  • Accept and give constructive criticism.
  • Focus on what’s best for the entire community.
  • Show empathy towards other participants.

We do not accept the following behavior:

  • Sexualized language, imagery, or attention
  • Trolling, insults, and personal attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Sharing private information without permission
  • Inappropriate behavior in a professional context

Guidelines for our Meetup

  1. Language: Our main language is German. For international online events, we switch to English. Don’t hesitate to ask for clarification if you don’t understand something.
  2. Time Zones: Remember that participants may be from different time zones. Be understanding when planning and during discussions.
  3. Online Etiquette:
    • Mute your microphone when not speaking.
    • Use the chat respectfully.
    • Use the “raise hand” function to speak.
  4. Offline Etiquette:
    • Respect others’ personal space.
    • Follow the instructions of the event organizers.
    • Keep the venue clean and tidy.
  5. Privacy: Don’t take photos, screenshots, or recordings without explicit permission from all involved.
  6. Azure Discussions:
    • Practice and accept constructive criticism.
    • Respect different experience levels.
    • Share your knowledge generously and support others in learning.
  7. Intellectual Property: Respect copyrights and cite sources when sharing Azure solutions or other content.
  8. Marketing and Self-Promotion: Excessive marketing or showcasing of your own company without prior agreement is not allowed. Do not solicit or harass other members/participants with promotional material. If you wish to present your company or products, please contact the organizers in advance for approval.

Our Responsibility

As organizers, we enforce the standards of acceptable behavior. We reserve the right to remove, edit, or reject contributions that do not comply with this Code of Conduct. In case of inappropriate behavior, we may temporarily or permanently exclude participants from the meetup.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all meetup spaces, both online and offline, as well as when you represent our community in public.

Enforcement

Report abusive, harassing, or unacceptable behavior to toto_san@live.com. We take all complaints seriously, investigate them confidentially, and respond appropriately.
